STCA is a diverse, welcoming community serving Preschool (age 3) through 8th Grade students located in the Madrona neighborhood of Seattle. In our 95th school year, we are known for our cultural diversity, excellent academic programs (including 1:1 laptops and service-learning), openness to families from all walks of life, and our faith-filled and family-like school culture.

Embracing diversity is a cornerstone of our mission. Our students and staff represent a

variety of cultures, faith traditions, and family backgrounds. Of our current 160 students:

  • 90% identify as children of color

  • 43% are Catholic

  • 60% receive tuition assistance

  • 33% qualify for free/reduced lunches

  • And our students represent 30+ zip codes in the greater Seattle area

We place a strong priority on hiring and retaining dedicated, talented, and professional ​faculty and staff members. We affectionately refer to our staff as "The Dream Team." Of our 31 Dream Teamers...

  • 15 are teachers (11:1 ratio)

  • 44% identify as people of color

  • 25 are female / 6 are male

  • 73% hold/pursuing Master's Degrees
