Long Term Sub Primary Grade Teacher (3rd Grade)
St. Therese Catholic Academy (STCA) seeks a long term sub Elementary 3rd Grade teacher for the remainder 2025-26 school year. With the anticipation of job renewal upon mutual agreement. This is a self-contained role as part of our primary team but will be responsible for all Elementary Level Grade content. Specific assignments for additional time will be determined based on school needs and candidates’ strengths.
STCA is a Preschool-8th grade Catholic elementary school in the heart of the Madrona neighborhood of Seattle, just 2 miles east of downtown. St. Therese is a welcoming, diverse, and faith-filled community that has been igniting the faith, minds, and dreams of our students since 1927. The school currently serves 150 students ages 3-14, 35% of whom receive free/reduced lunch. Our families commute from over 34 zip codes to be a part of our community, and over 60% of our families receive tuition assistance. Our staff (the Dream Team) has about 35 team members and is expanding along with our enrollment.
The Elementary consists of K-5 single grades, 7 teachers, and rotating assistants. Each homeroom teacher is responsible for teaching math, literacy, language arts & writing, science, social studies, and religion classes - at times sharing or exchanging with each other. Opportunities for collaboration, joint planning through the PLC process, and implementing creative new ideas exist and are welcome. Applicants should be mission-driven, highly motivated, dedicated, and creative individuals who are interested in working with students and families from all backgrounds in a diverse, Catholic setting. Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Education of similar field (Master’s preferred)

This position comes with full benefits and a salary compensation based on experience ($40,000-$50,000 range).

Business Manager
POSITION PURPOSE
The Business Manager plays a critical role in the daily operations of the school, overseeing administrative functions and supporting financial management. This position will work closely with the parish Director of Operations, school principal, bookkeeper and development team to ensure efficient financial and administrative operations of the school. This position will also work closely with members of the school community and foster a welcoming environment aligned with Catholic values. The position is 30 hours per week and is benefit eligible.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain accurate school records, including student and staff files.

Assist with maintaining the school calendar and scheduling events.

Assist with budgeting and financial planning, including monitoring expenses and income.

Oversee the payment of school-related expenses, ensuring adequate approvals are obtained and within budget.

Coordinate and manage incoming payments, with timely bank deposits.
-
Maintain up-to-date records in the student enrollment database; generate reports as needed for administrative and financial decision-making.

Oversee the adminissions process, tracking application statuses and follow up with families as needed. Provide regular status updates to school leadership.

Manage tuition billing and collections, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments as well as communications with school families regarding financial accounts.

Follow school established procedures for tuition collection.

Work with development team to coordinate proper tracking of fundraising event proceeds in accordance with established procedures, including donation acknowledgement.

Oversee tracking of reported service hours performed by school families.
-
Assist families as needed with tuition assistance applications, providing timely communication and coordination between the families and school.

Maintain employee records and assist with compliance of Human Resources policies.

Ensure employees and volunteers are in compliance with the Archdiocese of Seattle's Safe Environment program.

Position Title: Jesuit Volunteer/AmeriCorps Member
Position Description:
Engage in a meaningful year of service and community with JVC Northwest! For one year, Jesuit Volunteer (JV)/AmeriCorps members serve local organizations across the Pacific Northwest, helping them address a pressing community need that they’ve identified.
By living together in intentional community, JV/AmeriCorps members lean on each other for personal growth in the four core values of community, simple living, social and ecological justice, and spirituality/reflection.

Here at St. Therese Catholic Academy, we are looking to fill the role of Volunteer and Enrichment Coordinator with a JV/AmeriCorps member for the 2026-27 service year that begins in August. The Volunteer and Enrichment Coordinator will help grow and expand our structured service-learning experiences for students by collaborating with community partners, assisting teachers with logistics, accompanying students on the experiences, and leading pre- and post-reflections with students and teachers. As Volunteer Coordinator, you will communicate, schedule, and support volunteers from local high schools, colleges, the parish, the community, and school families.

All JV/AmeriCorps members will be provided with a living stipend, communal housing, health insurance, potential student loan forbearance, and a $7,000+ AmeriCorps Education Award to be used towards future tuition or to pay back qualified student loans.

Service Dates: August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2027
